You have a seen great website and you want to manage something like that and you probably think that it is not cool to pay a professional designer to design a website for you when many website online now are offering build-your-own website. Actually, here in Nigeria it is not all that easy because it could cost hundreds of thousands of naira for a professional designers to build a website for you. I would say that this post will new blogger/website owners  to consider what you want in your new website.

Here are five (5) things someone who is considering owning a website should know before indulging into choosing between a professional web designer or build-it-yourself service. Before I explain them, I will list few that build-your-own-website services will not allow you.
1. You own URL
2. Limited free space for attachments
3. Advertisement
4. Payment options
5. Your  website  will be bounded by their terms and guidelines.
[b]Your own URL[/]
Most build-your-own website services will offer you a domain like this {yourdomain.theirdomain.com} example manna.tiking.com. but if you just want your own URL, maybe something like igboists.forumotion.com, then consider having a web designer

Build-it-yourself is very good. Cheaper even.

If I have money, I will go for a professional web designer and become a full master of my website.

It would be easier to manage if you get the a good build-your-own- site. Anyway, that is depending on your plans. But, i still don't want professional web designing it could be more costly than you think
