The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
This is where the registration of all drugs especially the controlled drugs are done. It was formed in July 1st 1973; employees are in to 10,784 at Arlington, Virginia headquarters.
The Functions of The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
(1) the help in the prevention and population safety of communities.
(2) Ensure that controlled substances are readily available for medical use.
(3) they save life by preventing and controlling illegal drugs.
(4) they provide rules and regulation for the administration of drugs to individual especially pharmacist.
