World Food Programme (WFP)
It was founded in the 1961 at the Rome, Italy Head Quarters and is been headed by Erthar Cousin. It is an international org. whose aims are to save lives and protect live hood in emergenus, support food security & nutrition as well as reducing under nutrition.
The functions World Food Programme (WFP):
1. They supplies food relief in disasters
2. Coordinates the activities of the non-governmental organization which is to cover all aspects of occupational health and safety
3. They help in building a world where everyone has the food & nutrition needed to lead healthy productive lives
4. They also help the countries in achieving MDGs so as to know the number of people to help.
