With the google penguin update many website owners who haven’t been affected are looking for ways to get rid of their spammy links, inorganic and shady links they got. Actually, this may be a bit hard to get rid of them.

Although, google has promised a “disavow link too” in Google webmaster tool. For the present, no one actually knows when such tool will come into existence. And you can’t wait to see your site your have put much effort crumble to the dust by the action of Penguin Guillotine.
Then you must have been thinking of how to get rid of such bad links before you lose your website. “Half a Loaf is better than no loaf”. It is better for your site to be at fourth page than let it hurt by Penguin and crumbles to twentieth page. So, that is the reason to get rid of those inorganic links.

Here Are Two Ways To Remove Bad Backlinks

1. Contacting the site owners:
If you discover that you got links that are shady in some site, just con tact the site owners and ask them to remove those links or they could just tag rel= “nofollow” on those links. This is if you can’t have access to remove them.

2. Remove the Links Yourself:
If you got backlinks on sites like forum for instance, you can just remove the links by editing the post.
