President Muhammadu Buhari travelled to Daura, Katsina State over the weekend. He is reported to have broken the Ramadan fast at the Emir of Daura’s Palace.
In the company of close family relatives, President Buhari made a speech before breaking his fast. According to him, “I will never marginalize any section of the country. We are all Nigerians. I will be fair to all sections and tribes of this great nation,” Buhari said.
President Buhari gave his assurances at the palace of the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk.
Speaking in Hausa language, the president prayed the people to continue to pray for the unity of the country.
