Reading the news contents contained in the National dallies of today, I cannot but start crying uncontrollable, due to the numerous devious steps taking by some people from the South of oppressed, over colonized and destroyed Southern Nigeria ,to want to continue to play the role of wicked peace makers when what the core-north as current being expressed and defiantly expressing is to continue to lord their over colonial arrogance over the various ethnic nationalities forced into Nigeria by the British. Why would these southern leaders and voices continue to beg the Core-North on issues concerning the basics rights of their people, why? If it is the core-north that possess all the natural resources, presence of the sea and seaports within Nigeria in their parts of the country, would the north not resort to a violent process to break away from the rest of the country? Would southern leaders under above circumstances, prevailed on the North to stay, be acceptable to the elite and ordinary people of the North? These are parts of the numerous realities that some Southern Nigeria leadership and people are running away from.
THE BIAFRAN YOUTH: These segments of Southern Nigeria community are reading to dare the north even if it resorts to war to have their own separate country. They have demonstrated the above determination in the violence responses from the one Nigeria Federal might, which some of their counterparts in the South of Nigeria dare not attempt. They possess the same deviant spirits with their counterparts from the Niger-Delta. These two regions from the South are ready to confronting the Northern Federal might again without considering the over reported and celebrated defeat suffered during the unfortunate loss, to the Northern led federal Government in their first attempt and are ready to succeed this time around with massive global outreach. The fallout of such democratic exercise must be adhere to by all in the presence of the international mediators. Current, the Kongi himself is abroad putting all this process in place.
THEIR VISIBLE IMPEDIMENTS TO THEIR LATEST STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM FROM NORTHERN NIGERIA.
The incontestable impediments to the current struggle of Biafrans and their Niger-Delta to break away from the internal slavery of Northern domination cannot be narrow to the determination of the North and their federal government to maintain the unity of Nigeria by force alone but the cowardly presence of some Igbo and Niger-Delta powerful interests working in alliance with the Northern agenda in Nigeria. There is also the Yoruba treacherous interests who are not ready to uphold universal truth, even it is practical estimated that over 50,000,000 of their own people too do not have a future in the over northern dominated country, pledging criminal allegiance to one Nigeria the majority of their people do not have a future in, under the satanic pretense for the good of all ‘Nigerians’. The elite class from the South are adverse to any huge confrontations with the North that will affect their personal safety and business interests and that of their families. They could only shout and make demands on behalf of their various peoples on the pages of newspapers and in various conference communiques but only motion but no action. And when those who dare to confront the adversaries decided to raise up, these criminal southerners will resort to calling for negotiations and wanting to mediate to the advantage of the North, the federal Government under the stupid garb of canvassing for a fake greater good for all ‘Nigerians’
It is sadly unfortunate at this period of One Nigeria criminal and ugly history after over a hundreds of false peaceful-Coexistence, some Southern elders, political and intellectual leaders still want Southern Freedom fighters to negotiate their freedom struggle away under the garb of wanting to appease their people slave-masters for personal gains and glory.
Why will the Yoruba elite, not openly supports the Biafrans and the Niger-Deltans, to have their own separate country since the North does not want Nigeria restructured? What has the current structure and pan-Nigeria national unity mantra, done positively to the lives of millions of ordinary Yorubas in Nigeria, yet we pretend that Nigeria will come back to normal of being a true-Federation? Maybe when we are all dead and their children can inherit our dead bodies while our children will not even stay alive to bury us, we their parents.
Now oil and gas exploration will commence within the Yoruba territory of Lagos and our people will only be entitled to 13% derivation from what will be extracted from our land while the remain 82% disappear into where we might not see it again, yet there are so many challenges confronting the Yoruba Nation and Lagos State in particular in terms of its drive on human and capital developments which ordinary 13% can never ameliorate but because we cannot aggressively demand for what is ours as some of our elites are in criminal connivance of denying those who own similar resources ,their rights to own it by forming criminal conspiracies and alliance with the major parasites in Nigeria.
The current and domicile natural resources and well-funded human population within the Yoruba Nation in an Oduduwa Republic will emerge as the fastest growing economy within the global spectrum when we actualized self-determination. One Nigeria is a stumbling block to Yoruba development and industrialization. You look at the nature and philosophies are wrongly co-habit within Nigeria with, and ask yourself, the fundamental question of what collaborating advantage in correlative terms as that impacted in the lives our people while living with the others under one Nigeria?. The terms development could also be defined within the context of the history and culture, and made beliefs of a people, do you have that Nigeria since 1914 till date, when you are wrongly clubbed together by the satanic British colonial masters? Many people hate me with passion for advocating and seeking for a Yoruba country with other senior Yoruba comrades, but have they providing their own brand of solutions to the Yoruba question rather than used them to participate in elites criminal and anti-productive periodic elections in Nigeria, where they smiles to the banks via political and elites appointments which dividends, only accrued to them and their nuclear families.
These interests will also on behalf of the Nigeria State and its imperial governments at all levels, initiating long term unrealistic and voodoo economic policies under a unitary structure, which they will termed Vision 2030,or Mission 2045 and more deceitful manipulations, while requesting for the majority that are already dying, to give an oppressive government and the Nigeria State time and chance, to F@@l them forever.
Furthermore, they will not ask us to fight for Oduduwa Republic, because to them war is not good, and will many may die in the process, but these sets of professional arch-deceivers, will not hesitate to move us in our millions to the streets to die during elections whenever their interests are threatening. If they can induced us to fight their electoral battles for them why would they that now they want restructuring of unitary Nigeria,mobilize us to the street all across the Yoruba Nation to make this demand known to other so 'Nigerians' and the international community.
PROFESSOR WOLE SOYINKA AND THE COMING OF INTERNATIONAL MEDIATORS:
In conclusion, we must appreciate the roles of the Kongi to bring permanent peace to the Niger-Delta but this intervention cannot be isolated to the reality that other parts of the already Nigeria State must be involve in whatever discussion that will be place on the table. And the terms of the discussion must be total and must not tilt towards favoring the North and its current Federal government of Nigeria. The sacrosanct deceptive mantra of one Nigeria must be relegated to the background and all facts of internal slavery and colonialism of one section of the country against the other must be contested. And if certain elements refuses to accept the conditions and positions place before them, they must be allow to be entitled to rights to demand for a referendum within their region, to asserting whether their demands is popular among the majority of the people from that region and the fallout must be respected. Enough is truly and really enough.
We cannot pretend that all is well, even when the tap is dry.
