thought after a woman's brideprice is paid, she automatically becomes the man's wife. Where then did some Nigerian pastors get their" "no white wedding, no marriage" law from? To the extent some of them bans couples from living together until after the white wedding.
Is white wedding compulsory? What if they prefer court registry? Must everyone do church wedding?
Does it mean they consider traditional marriage useless?
This one is here telling a Man that already paid her bride price and settled the umunna that she is not yet his wife Till after white wedding .
I am not saying white wedding is not good, but what stops a Lady to go home with her husband after all the traditional requirement have been met including bride prize, hian.
