Onions has a huge content of Riboflavin. Which would help render remedy to Insomnia, loss of memory, hypertension, diabetes, headache and cold/cough.

1. Loss of Memory: Chewing half a bulb of onion every morning and night is a great remedy for memory loss.

2. Hypertension: blending or grinding five bulbs of onions with a bottle of honey which would be taken twice daily of 4 desertspoons.

3. Insomnia: Chewing one bulb of onion every night will get insomnia rid off your life.

4. Diabetes: Chewing a bulb of onion every night and morning will be of aid to diabetes patients.

5. Headache: one bulb of onion should be pounded and its juice squeezed out and rubbed on the forehead.

Scientific name of onion is Allium Cepa

Igbo name of onion is Yabase

Yoruba name of onion is Alubosa

Hausa name of onion is Albasa
