Lionel Messi has taken some time out to enjoy a holiday in Ibiza after missing out on the Copa America title with Argentina.

The 29-year-old (Messi) looked relaxed as he took a sip of a drink on a yacht in Formentara where he is taking a break with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo and his family.



He was all smiles as he took a dip in the sea ahead of returning to Barcelona after yet more international final heartbreak during the summer.

Messi missed a penalty in the shootout against Chile in New Jersey following a 0-0 draw after extra time, as Alexis Sanchez and teammates took the title.

It was his third consecutive final defeat and fourth in all with Argentina, and he announced his international retirement following the match.
