How to change your code (Security)


When you set up your phone to start requesting a pin code, your sim card pin code is set with the code 0000 (5 zeros). It is a good idea to change this number to your own preferred number as soon as you can. This means that nobody else can use your phone without your permission.

Change your pin code by doing this.

Press **04* enter the old/default code (0000 at first) then press * enter your new secret pin code, followed by the * button. Choose a number that you will remember easily. It can be up to eight (8) numbers long but not less than 4. Most people choose 4 numbers. Enter the new number again and press # yes/ok. Every time you switch your cell phone on it will ask to enter this secret pin code. You can change your number whenever you want to using the above instruction.
