The war between Israel and Palestine has been on for thousands of years.
In the bible, they are called the Philistines, a notable battle happened between them and the Israelis in which David from Israel was recorded by the bible authors to have killed a certain Palestinian giant called Goliath.
The Palestine empire lasted from around 1200 years before Jesus was born until 600 years before Jesus was born. That's a period of about 600 years which marked the Golden age of Palestine.
It was Nebuchadnezzar from Babylon in Iraq that put an end to that era by invading conquering and destroying their polity. He also did the same to Israel and totally destroyed Jerusalem then carried off the Israelis to Babylon for slavery.
Palestine has not been able to recover again since that time. Israel seem to have bounced back from 1948 after suffering an existential threat from Hitler who exterminated 6 million of them within 5 years.
Jewish revolts after the death of Jesus caused the Romans to kill so many Jews that for the first time in Jewish history, they became a minority tribe in that region.
Then the Romans imposed a very heavy taxation on the surviving Jews, the subjugation was so much that the Jews started massively migrating out of their cities into other empires were they were treated more leniently.
Most importantly, many Jews migrated towarsa Iraq, where the Persian empire accommodated them.
After the declaration of Jewish Israel independence in 1948, many Jews that migrated out started returning to their former homelands. This meant pushing out the Palestinians that were there.. Over 3 million Jews have migrated to Israel so far.
They call this migration, the Aliyah.
The Ottoman Empire (Turkey) conquered and colonized the Palestinians 500 years ago, only to be displaced by the British some 150 years ago.
Now there is yet another Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Turkish president is calling on all the Arab nations to unite and 'teach Israel a lesson'.
If that happens, they will not only be fighting against Israel but against Israeli allies.
It will be yet another Israeli-Arab conflict, Israel has so far won the past 3.
Palestine has now done more than 2,600 years without independence, they declared their own independence in 1988, 33 years ago. Israel declared theirs 73 years ago through the barrel of the gun, led-spitting metal birds and steel rain.
