What is Malaria?
Causes of Malaria fever
Malaria fever is caused by a single-celled, plasmodium that thrives in the red blood cells of the victim. Through mosquito bites, these parasites spread from one person to another
Symptoms of Malaria Fevers
• Loss of appetite
• Heavy perspiration
• Muscular pains
• High body temperature
• Body weakness and pale skin
• Chills and headache that occur regularly
• Fever that recurs every 2 or 3 days
Prevention of Malaria Fever
• Maintain environment sanity
• Frequent use of mosquito nets while sleeping
• Avoid mosquito attacks
• Clean drainages, old cans, gutters and any other thing that produce a breeding place for mosquitoes from the surroundings.
Herbal Treatment for Malarial Fever Method 1
Materials
Get eight bottles of water, thirty leaves of bitter leaf plant and four yellow pawpaw leaves
Preparation
Squeeze both four yellow pawpaw leaves and thirty leaves of bitter leaf plant in eight bottles of water.
Dosage
Take one glassful of the mixture 3x daily for 10 days
Herbal Treatment for Malarial Fever Method 2
Materials
Get orange peels, lemon grass leaves, brimstone tree leaves (morinda lucida) and water.
Preparation
Get equal amount of Brimstone tree (morinda lucida), lemon grass and orange peels and bring them to boil.
Dosage:
Take one glassful 3x daily for seven days
The Scientific name of Brimstone tree is called Morinda Lucida
The Igbo name of Brimstone tree is called Eze-ogu or Njisi
The Yoruba name of Brimstone tree is called oruwo

Materials
Get goat weed (Ageratum conyzoides) and water
Preparations
Squeeze the leaves of the goat weed leaves in water try making it as concentrated as possible.
Dosage
Take one glassful 3x daily for five days
The Scientific name for Goat weed is called Ageratum conyzoides
The Igbo name for Goat weed tree is called Akwukwo nwa osi n’aka or ahenhea
The Yoruba name for Goat weed is called Imi-eshu
The Efik name for Goat weed is called Otiti
The Bini name for Goat weed is calledEb-ghedore
The Urhobo name for Goat weed is called Ikamaku
